Sony introduced its new WF-1000XM4 earbuds, from the 1000X series, headphones that promise to provide efficient noise cancellation and high-quality audio thanks to its new chip with integrated V1 processor.
We recently tested these headphones and we can tell you that it is a very well achieved device, not only in terms of design but also in the audio quality and functions it offers.

Small in size but powerful in sound quality. One of the main features of this device is its new chip with an integrated V1 processor, developed by Sony, which is complemented by two microphones that detect and analyze sound. Therefore, the headphones are able to reduce distortion and provide more accurate noise cancellation.
Thanks to the processing of the LDAC codec and its DSEE technology, the transfer speed of the audio via Bluetooth is much faster, in addition, it provides high-resolution audio with a quality very similar to that offered by a cable connection.
Added to this, the manufacturer has incorporated a bone conduction sensor that allows voice to be captured clearly and precisely during calls. In fact, it is also possible to set up a 360 audio experience that works well on Android devices or an iPhone.
The Speak-to-Chat function is present to allow users to converse with another person without the need to remove their hearing aids. Because the headphones recognize the user’s speech, pause the music and enable ambient sound, and at the end of the conversation the music plays automatically.
It should also be noted that this model has an adaptive intelligent sound control, which adjusts the sound settings based on the noise around the user. So that we can have better audio without the need to make adjustments thanks to a proximity sensor, the use detection function pauses the music when the earbuds are removed and resumes it once the user puts them back on.
This system also provides great comfort, so the user will not feel discomfort after using the headphones for several hours. Their design makes them very light and this also contributes to increasing comfort during use.
In terms of battery life, this model offers up to 8 hours of use with the earbuds and an additional 16 hours of charge through the case. So the user would have a total of 24 hours of use.
In addition, they have a fast charging system that in 5 minutes provides up to 60 minutes of playback. Added to this, they can be charged without the need for cables, thanks to Qi wireless charging technology.
